APA One-Day Seminar Scheduled for April 5th

Date: Tuesday, April 5, 2011
Cost: $20 per participant
Time: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Place: First Presbyterian Church -Kearney
Who: Everyone is invited to attend this one day event. This includes Pastors, Lay Employees, Clerks of Session, CLPs, LLPs, Personnel Chairs, and anyone else interested is welcome to attend.

Classes to be offered: Bible History, Polity III, Emotional Mastery, & Personal Safety

Activating Inactive Members Workshop

There will be an “Activating Inactive Members” workshop on Saturday, March 19 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Kenesaw Presbyterian Church. Brochures will be emailed later. There is no charge and the workshop is open to anyone interested. Please let the presbytery office know of your plans to attend so we can prepare adequate handouts.

Chuck and Joyce Olsen Respond from New Zealand after the Quake

Thanks to you all for inquiring about our safety. When it happed here at about 1:00 noon yesterday (Tuesday out time) Joyce was working out at Curves and I was casting a spinner bait into a river near Lake Taupo. We are several hundred miles away in the middle of the north island.
